Fostering personal growth and
empowerment within vulnerable groups
We are a visionary non-profit organization
based in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
After 12 years of working with children and adolescents from high-risk situations and violent backgrounds on themes like social-emotional development and personal growth, we present a new initiative: Foundation Kikinpi Wiñay!
Our name, derived from Quechua, translates to “growth from within”. This encapsulates our core philosophy of fostering resilience and empowerment in vulnerable communities and individuals, specifically focusing on children, adolescents, and women.
To ensure sustainability of our influence, we work together with small groups of local people involving teachers, social workers and therapists who have a great passion and drive for change. Together we work towards more impact, independence, and stability for vulnerable populations here in Cochabamba.
One of the initial projects we support through Kikinpi Wiñay is the establishment of an integrated daycare center at La Cancha. Read more about this initiative on our projects page.
